so today's kinda sucking out. everyone in my Computer shop might agree. we had to switch seats today due to the term change. some of our seat are horrible :(
my blood sugars were high(ish) at lunch which puts everything over the top.
so instead of doing nothing right now, i figured i'd keep everyone posted.
instead of playing the woe is me card, i'll tell you what i'm looking forward to in the future.
1) my Birthday is Jan 30th (20) days :) i'm gonna be 16, can you say stoked?
2) Jonas' this year is gonna be a big year for the Jonas Brothers, and i intend to take part in it.
3) i'm entering a ton of singing compettitions this year. lovelovelovelove
4) Diabetes: so much to do, not enough time to say it. stay tuned for Diabetes updates/info/fun facts.
so, that wasted a good 15 minutes. hope y'all are enjoying your day (more than i am).

about me..
Hey everyone,
I'm Kara Hanson. 1) band promoter 2) singer 3) actress and most of all, a teenager living with Type 1 Diabetes.
I love music. I live off music. Music gets me through anything and everything.
I have some of the best friends and amazing an family.
band promoter:
i run a site i created called A&K Music Promotions, it's like one large street team. i do everything from interviews, to promo posters. http://www.aandkmusicpromos.jimdo.com.
I help lots of musicians and from that hear many different types of music. I love going to concerts, whether it's at a mall for an acoustic performance to a huge arena for one killer show, i love it.
singing:
I lovelovelove singing. I want it to be part of my life, always and forever. I used to take lessons and am looking into them again. I've been in many singing compettitions and contests. I cannot get enough of it. My dad used to be in a band (One Way Street) and was the drummer. Growing up, watching him do shows has made me enjoy music for so much more than it is.
acting:
I've always been a comedic person. but acting didn't come into my life till i was close to my teens. i then joined an acting agency and have been loving it ever since. I like on film acting, but also theater. Like singing, this will always be a part of my life.
Diabetes:
i was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when i was 6. It was a huge to my family and me. I'm now 15 (almost 16) and it hasn't gotten any easier. They say "practice makes perfect" but i could debate that. Sometimes Diabetes is a parasite, but other times it's a blessing. I'm a pumper (an omnipod pumper that is). This past summer my friends and i started a project called The Dream Team helping kids/families with Type 1 Diabetes, and so far it's been such a reqarding experience.
I hope you learned at least a few new things about me.
xoxo Kara
